I actually used to be afraid of the location because it’s quite desolate, but over time I’ve turned from a bonafide city girl into a marina loving wife. There is nothing that calms me down more than going into our backyard and looking out at the Chesapeake Bay.
This time of year there aren’t many (if any) who come down to the marina. Before summer hits with tons of people swarming to their boats, the beach, and the pool, my husband and I enjoy a nice quiet slice of the bay all by ourselves.
I’m going through changes internally with myself and with Les Naly. In the beginning, I was determined to create a career site for women. Over the course of 8 months I had a team writing articles and pushing for a business goal. For a while I felt like I was charting down the right course.
From where I stand now, I can honestly say that I no longer want to build solely a career site.
With the previous mission of Les Naly, I felt incredibly constrained to talk about career and work only which represents a smidgen of things I’m interested in.
With a very heavy, heavy heart I made one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made in my life: dismantling my team, redirecting Les Naly and starting over. I’m being brave, rolling my sleeves up and painting the wall white for a fresh start at Les Naly and in life.No matter what - go where your internal compass points you Click To Tweet
I hope that you’ll continue to join me on the journey.
This morning’s walk and photo session gave me all the relaxing and positive vibes I needed for a fresh start.
Thank you and I look forward to sharing more.
